UPDATE ONE
Left hand side engine room doors welded in place (view from rear). All the doors are constructed from 4mm sheet steel, 1' by 3' per door. Left hand side engine room doors open (view from front). 3mm x 25mm strip was welded around the edges of the doors to improve aesthetics as well as to reduce the amount of water penetrating the cabin.
Front doors with weather strip and lock.

Right hand side doors with weather strip. Hatch still to be made to cover the hole in the roof.

Engine mounted centrally in the engine bay on a square tubular frame. The generator is located in rough position behind the engine. The mounting frame for the generator cannot be finished until the hull is seam welded. Close up of engine mounting frame and engine mounted to it via four M12 bolts. The frame raises the engine legs off the floor by 10".
