Why?

That's a little difficult to explain! But it can be summarised as: a combination of the TV series 'The Office' and the film 'Amelie'.

The Cock was bought during a trip to a hardware store in Dodge Center, Minnesota as part of 'The Office': "you're a cock, you're a cock, you're a cock" phase that seemed to have consumed the department I was working in at the time.

The Cock then spent the next few months stuck to the centre of the dashboard in the rented SUV we had at the time. Just before my departure from the company, approximately two years later, the Cock was presented to me as a parting gift.
